I cant help but wonder why Brunei has to be dimly lit at night. I think that could be an answer to why most Bruneians have poor eyesights. lol!
The only bright area in Brunei might as well be Gadong, where most attentions go like almost all the time, roads and even the so called CBD's not that brightly lit. Not even on any celebrations this year as I could recall, Would probably be the reason why noone goes anywhere else except Gadong. Presumably, humans are like insects, attracted only to bright lights. lol! It could be no wonder then why Brunei dont really attract a large number of tourists. Have you been to the Brunei "International Airport" at night? The place is as dark as the compound of a house on the everyday basis. There is a big "spotlight" standing right in the middle of the parking lot and yet its still dark. -_-" perhaps this could be the impressions needed to be printed on tourists mind when they come out of the arrival hall?seems like there's nothing to offer..haish..Brunei, "a country of unexpected treasures" kept them hidden in treasure chests kaah??too stingy to pull them out for maintenance?-_-" haiyuu..
Brunei's not all bad though, a few kinks are seen to be worked on, roads are un-- a mess, blame on the land, but still could be preserve to use longer then a few days if trucks would stay out of the small roads, I doubt there's some constructing or students to be picked up by buses at that "kedai minum" where they park their trucks or buses close to, especially at night. Sheesh.. as "racist" most of us are, we still let them "foreigners" step on our heads no?
"bu, nya kawan ku amah babu temeng"
"pasal?"
"kawan ku dtg dimalam ahh nya ia cmani *angkat dagu* "cari siapa?""
"biartia wahh, inda ya tau kali tu"
haishh..
